AS to A2

Reflection of my learning from my AS project

CREATIVITY

In order to be more creative in my A2 project, I will think of more ideas and contribute more to things such as the storyboard and the costume and makeup side of the project. This will enable me to express my ideas and be more creative.

POST-PRODUCTION

For our AS project, we only used iMovie. To make our A2 project better, I would use software such as Garage Band to add sound effects and change the way things look. I would do this by using different filters and overlapping different sounds so we can express what we want our audience to see.

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

I would also change some of the equipment we used for our AS. For example, the Canon camera we used was very bad quality in the dark which meant we also had to use an iPhone, To improve in A2, I wold make sure we use high quality equipment.

REAL MEDIA CONVENTIONS

One thing that our group focused on in AS was mes-en-scene, such as the writing on the wall which was not successful. This taught us that for A2, we need to properly think about how things will look for the genre that we chose.

RESEARCH AND PLANNING

Research and planning was vital in our AS project. I would change the way that we researched genre and make sure that we research more. Also, make our scripts and storyboard more accurate to make it easier when shooting.
